Black Americans Watch Most TV
According to a Nielsen report that breaks down viewing trends by ethnicity, black people watch much more television than an average American. In November 2010, when the data was compiled, black people used their TVs an average of 7 hours, 12 minutes each day — above the US average of 5 hours, 11 minutes. Asians watched TV the least, at just 3 hours and 14 minutes a day on average.
