Vera Farmiga Strikes Back
The Oscar-nominated actress Vera Farmiga (pictured) despairs at the dearth of good female parts offered by the big studios. (Note to Vera: Studios don’t have many roles for middle-aged men these days either, unless they want to play comic-book villains or action heroes.) The solution for Farmiga was obvious – to direct and star in her own feature film.
