Madea Goes To The Georgia Shore
I’m never quite sure how to feel about Tyler Perry. His movies are wildly popular, and those who hate them, especially among the African-American community, always seem a teensy bit envious to me. On the other hand, have you actually tried to watch a Madea movie lately? You know, Madea: the drag character on whose padding Perry made his fortune. The officially heterosexual Perry pulls her out of his wardrobe every time his bank balance dips below a hundred million, but Perry’s love of wigs and pumps smacks of bit of protesting too much, if ya know what I mean. In his latest Madea-fest, Perry spoofs poor Snooki of “Jersey Shore.”
