Designer Charles Nolan Dies
Charles Nolan, a fashion designer who proudly wore his politics on his sleeve, and also on his runway, died Sunday at his home on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He was 53. Nolan’s longtime partner, writer and Democratic National Committee treasurer Andrew Tobias, is someone I’ve known for years. And my thoughts and prayers are with Tobias and all the other members of Nolan’s family at this time.
