Who Should Play New Angels?
Apparently, two shiteous movies weren’t enough. The proposed remake of the ’70s series “Charlie’s Angels” has gotten off the ground, as ABC has ordered a pilot to be produced for the network. Who should play them? How about Ashlee Simpson, Snooki, and Heidi Montag? (You were expecting Beyonce, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj?) Miles Millar and Alfred Gough will produce the revamp – alongside original series producer Leonard Goldberg and Drew Barrymore, who starred in the movie remakes – which will now reportedly take place in Miami, and feature Robert Wagner as the voice of Charlie. The actor explains: “I would imagine [the show] will probably be quite different, because the technology is quite different. I would imagine [I will communicate] on cell phones wherever these gals are. I could be tweeting them; I could be doing a lot of things with them.”
