Take A Look At “Lights Out”
I happened to interview Stacy Keach live in New York yesterday, not long before the start of the Golden Globes in L.A. He told me about the new F/X drama he was on, “Lights Out,” so after the Globes were over I watched the first episode. It’s the story of an Irish-American family in Bayonne, NJ, where the elder son (played by Holt McCallany, pictured with Keach) is an ex-boxer. It’s a little “Sopranos”-ish, but not quite so cartoonish as all that. I thought the first episode showed promise; I hope F/X keeps the show around long enough so it can develop.
