“Catcher” Sequel To Be Published
The author of the controversial sequel to “The Catcher In The Rye” – which is now allowed to be published outside North America and is available in England – admits he has little “respect for anything old.” Swedish author Fredrick Colting‘s book “60 Years Later” is banned from publication in America and Canada until “Catcher In The Rye” enters the public domain. His ‘sequel’, written under the pseudonym John David California, is now free to be sold in other international territories after a legal settlement with the Salinger Estate: J.D. isn’t dead a year and already he’s rolling in his grave.
