I Draw The Line At Reagan
One of the books I’ve read so far this holiday week is “Colonel Roosevelt,” Edmund Morris’s concluding volume in his trilogy of Teddy (not as involving as the previous two). But I don’t think I’ll stick with Republican presidents for the rest of the break, unlike Barack Obama, who’s reading Lou Cannon’s new bio of Ronnie Baby (“President Reagan: The Role of a Lifetime”). Also in my holiday pile: “Cleopatra,” by Stacy Schiff and “The Hare with Amber Eyes,” by Edmund de Waal.
