Bravo Doing “A List” Competitor
Nora Ephron once said: “When I read Cosmo I feel dirty; when I read People I feel nothing.” My version: When I watched “The A List: New York,” on the Logo channel, I felt nothing dirty. This reality show about gay wannabes in Manhattan (remember: if you have to say you’re on the A list, you’re not) has finally provided Logo with a hit. And Bravo, which for years has had the gay audience that Logo craves, has paid attention. Bravo honcho Andy Cohen (pictured, with some of his real housewives) is apparently assembling a competing show, called “From the Bottom to the Top.” But, once again, the roster of guys tentatively on the program seem to be C list at best.
