Fewer Stars Twinkle At Sundance
For quite some time now, the main difference between an American indie movie and a Hollywood movie is that in the former the stars make less — but “indies” still needed stars to be financed. But is the indie world changing? The supposed top festival for indie cinema, Sundance, has just announced its 2011 lineup — one of the flicks features the rapper Q-Tip (pictured) — and there’s a conspicuous absence of star power. An anomaly or a trend?
