Dogg To Bark At Royal Wedding
Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton in April will be a carefully choreographed occasion, steeped in tradition, and watched proudly by an expectant nation. But his engagement party will, by all accounts, be quite the opposite. So says The Independent today, a newspaper which seems to think that Snoop Dogg, who will perform at the stag affair, is “the king of hip-hop.” Shhh: don’t tell that to Jay-Z or Kanye West or Eminem, all of whom have greater sales and creative cred than Snoop. Meanwhile, for those of you who aren’t familiar with the “work” of Snoop, above is a sample of one of his more tasteful hits, “Let’s Get Blown.” I can just see the Queen boogying to that.
