Willie Nelson: What Next?
I know I’m a little late getting to the Willie Nelson news on LW: blame Thanksgiving. Anyway, as all of you probably know, Nelson was arrested in his native Texas last week for marijuana possession. (My Texas friends like to defend their state by saying that “There are two Texases: George Bush Texas and Willie Nelson Texas.” Once again, we are reminded which of those Texases has the greater power — as if there was ever any doubt.) Anyway, when I heard the news about Willie, I thought: What’s next? Joan Rivers arrested for plastic surgery? Kanye West arrested for a Twitter rant? Sarah Palin arrested for lying?
