The Further Decline Of The NY Times
The Times’ chief schoolmarm, Michiko Kakutani, assigns an “A” grade to Jay-Z’s new memoir, “Decoded,” praising its ‘survivor’s appraising sense of character, an observer’s eye for detail and a hustler’s penchant for wordplay and control.’ I guess Kakutani is under the impression that Jay-Z is still hip. And don’t you just love the revolting silliness of the phrase “a hustler’s penchant”?
