Anton Chekhov: A Real Laugh Riot
All the comedians essaying Chekhov are being subjected to a lot of puzzled comment. People don’t understand why a writer generally known for frustrated dreams not lol-filled pratfalls is getting the humor treatment. I don’t find Steve Coogan (pictured) and others playing the Russian for titters to be strange at all. If you can’t see the comedy in frustrated dreams, then you probably need a humor transplant.
