The Juice Cleanse: Strange, Green
The New York Times says that half of Hollywood is on the juice-cleanse diet. Actually, Hollywood has been preoccupied with bowel-cleansing for years. Remember the scene in “L.A. Story” where Sarah Jessica Parker waxed ecstatic to Steve Martin about the expulsive joys of a high colonic? I do, and I wasn’t the only one at the theater who squirmed when Martin’s character got one.
