San Fran Flies Its Freak Flag High
Isn’t it just too fitting that the Giants make the World Series during Halloween season? The team’s colors are those of the holiday, and San Francisco, true to gloriously freaky form, has sported fans in full-costume, heavily bearded regalia. I was already rooting for the Giants, because they’re playing the team that eliminated the Yankees and because the Giants used to be in New York, but the city’s dress-up spirit clinched my allegiance.
