Jetpacks: A Pop Culture Trend?
Michael Jackson flew a jetpack a few years ago at the end of a concert in Bucharest. Yesterday, a stunt man flew around in a jetpack at London’s Trafalgar Square to promote the launch of the latest Halo video game. And yesterday, a cast member of the new “Spider-Man” musical rehearsing on 42nd Street told me that jet-pack training is figuring into the preparation for that $60 million extravaganza.
