Who Could Play Muammar Gaddafi?
Why oh why with all the terrible ideas for biopics floating around Hollywood doesn’t someone make a movie about Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi? He’s been in power since 1969 (among centre-stage world leaders, only Fidel Castro is longer-lived). And Gaddafi’s life is ridiculously colorful. Latest evidence: on a visit this week to Italy, he hired 200 “hostesses” and then tried to convert them to Islam. And then there was the infamous New York Post page-one drag photo a couple of decades ago, which has mysteriously vanished from the Internet.
