Gormley’s Latest: Naked In Edinburgh
The artist Antony Gormley, whose sculptures are currently hanging about rooftops and sidewalks around New York’s Madison Square Park, has another project. It’s called 6 Times, it’s in Edinburgh, and it’s a sculptural series commissioned by the National Galleries of Scotland. It’s made up of six life-size figures positioned between the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and the sea. Four of the figures are sited in the Water of Leith, acting as gauges for the height of the river as it swells and recedes.
