The Other Mark Rothko Murals
John Logan’s play “Red,” which won a passel of prizes at Sunday’s Tonys, concerns the painter Mark Rothko and his murals for the Four Seasons restaurant in New York. Another set of paintings, for Harvard, could almost provide a “Red” sequel because of conservation problems.
