Why They’re Called The “Empties”
Fast reacs to the MTV Movie Awards of last night: 1) Tom Cruise is more interesting as a character actor (bald head, paunch) than as a star. 2) Why all the sympathy for Sandra Bullock this weekend? How hard is it to show up and collect two awards from adoring audiences? 3) “Twilight” is already over-exposed again, and the latest installment in the franchise isn’t even in theatres until the end of the month. 4) The expletives, especially when uttered by 12-year-olds, are getting a little tired.
