Boyle To Direct Olympics Opening
Danny “Slumdog Millionaire” Boyle will direct the 2012 opening ceremony in London, which will take place in a newly constructed Olympic stadium in Stratford. (That’s Stratford in east London, not Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare.) Expecting the London ceremony to be on a par with that directed by Zhang Yimou in Beijing? Not me!
