This could become a regular event for bearish boys of a certain persuasion: on June 12, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Austin, Texas, is producing something called “Rolling Roadshow: ‘Deliverance’ w/Ultimate Canoe Adventure!” The event will involve an entire day of paddling down a river, drinking beer, and then de-boating at some remote backwoods location to smoke an entire pig and drink more beer while watching John Boorman’s 1972 Best Picture contender starring Burt Reynolds (pictured). Hillbillies, banjos, and pretty mouths optional.
