Bus Drivers’ Loo Wins Design Prize

architectureRIBA-Architectural-Awards-009The Royal Institute of British Architects has announced the winners of its 2010 architecture awards for projects by British architects in the UK and abroad. Almost a fifth of the buildings listed are schools and education projects, yet as a measure of the recession’s impact, the major museums and airports that graced the list in recent years are few. In their place are more modest projects, including a bus drivers’ toilet in Dagenham (pictured).
