Lynn Redgrave, 67, Is Dead
Lynn Redgrave, the theater, film and television actress and scion of the Redgrave acting clan, has died. She was 67. Her sister, Vanessa, may have gotten more attention over the years, artistically speaking, but Lynn, in spite of a long struggle with breast cancer, never stopped. Her indomitability and generosity of spirit will be missed. She received Oscar noms for “Georgy Girl” (above) and “Gods and Monsters.” I will not remember her for the remake of “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?” that she and Vanessa foisted on the world in 1991.
