“Spork” Takes Tribeca Honor
At the awards presentation last night for the Tribeca Film Festival, J.B. Ghuman, Jr.‘s debut feature, “Spork,” about a high-school hermaphrodite, won the audience award from online viewers in Tribeca’s first virtual fest. Other, more “serious” flicks won juried honors, but Ghuman’s award was voted on by people all over the world. I’ll be posting an exclusive interview with the director this weekend.
