Winslet Split: Another Man Involved?
Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet have split, and prying minds want to know: why? Is there another man/woman involved? Well, Miss Winslet, soon to star as the slaphappy Mildred Pierce for HBO, was spotted yesterday frolicking in a bikini aboard a boat in Mexico. What will happen now? Will Kate or Sam move back to London from New York? Sam has been spotted lately hanging out with Ethan Hawke, who had his own split from a glamour girl (Uma Thurman) a few years back and is probably a good shoulder to cry on. This tabloid story not very credibly blames the Sam/Kate split on “Revolutionary Road” and on Mendes’ boredom with this year’s Bridge Project in Brooklyn.
