Why No Movies About Auto-Erotica?

digbyIN14137190File-phot_331886tA BBC daytime TV host named Kristian Digby (pictured) has died, apparently of a “sex game” involving auto-erotic asphyxiation. David Carradine’s recent death also involved this process. I’m surprised no major filmmaker has been drawn to this theme; Gus van Sant would be the likely candidate. Also David Cronenberg, although his 1996 flick “Crash” (not to be confused with the “Crash” movie that robbed “Brokeback Mountain” of the Best Picture Oscar) comes close, with its plot involving omnisexual car crashes.
