Burton’s “Alice”: Someone Likes It!
The people I’ve talked to who’ve seen Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” think it’s a big, crashing bore. Not this critic: “The books of Lewis Carroll may have provided [Burton’s] inspiration, but he sets about Wonderland with a giddy irreverence. It is his film and he can do what he likes.”
