Angie As Dr. Kay: Younger, Tattooed
Remember last year when Angelina Jolie was cast as the lead in a movie inspired by Patricia Cornwell‘s best-selling Dr. Kay Scarpetta series? There were complaints from Kay-ites that the 34-year-old Angie was too old to play the defiantly middle-aged Scarpetta. But this is Hollywood, kiddies, which means that, as Cornwell has just told the L.A. Times, the movie will feature a much younger Doc. In Hollywood, if Miley Cyrus wanted to play Blanche DuBois, Blanche would be sexting, texting babe from the Valley and Stanley would be Robert Pattinson.
