You Won’t Believe This Movie
You haven’t lived until you’ve seen the 1958 bad-girls potboiler “Girls on the Loose.” So I guess I’d never lived until last week, when I caught TCM’s broadcast of this sure-to-make-your-jaw-drop camp classic. From the sexsational ringleader (Mara Corday), who looks like Gina Gershon’s mother, to the doe-like Shirley Maclaine lookalike (Barbara Bostock), this femme crime caper (“Gang Girls Out for Kicks!”) could be a primer to the next Lindsay or Paris.
