Art, Life: It’s Snowing Everywhere!

wedding nightI woke up early this morning and switched on Turner Classic Movies. It was running a 1935 Gary Cooper flick I’d never seen called “The Wedding Night.” (With Ralph Bellamy in one of his patented sap roles.) Coop plays a washed-up writer who’s fled New York for Connecticut. A key scene takes place during a blizzard, which was about the time I dozed off. When I woke up it was snowing hard in New York. Sometimes, I wish the snow would confine itself to the movies.
