Redford: Sundance Was “Sliding”
The Sundance Film Festival kicked off yesterday, and its founder, Robert Redford (pictured with fest director John Cooper), stated the obvious: the fest is “sliding,” and needs “to get fresh again.” Whether the movies themselves, however, can regain their importance over the late-night parties and corporate swag shops is doubtful.
