Has Facebook Destroyed Privacy?
I’m amazed by the way in which so many of my middle-aged peers get bitten by the Facebook bug and start posting away like mad, informing the world of every time they have a bowel movement. (Thankfully, they usually back off a bit on their postings, once they realize that Facebook won’t help them achieve nirvana.) I don’t want to dump wholesale on Facebook, however: it has its uses. And I certainly don’t think it has helped destroy privacy in the world; this writer agrees.
