No Shit, “Sherlock”? Yes It Is!
The new “Sherlock Holmes” movie is boffo, rivaling “Avatar” for top spot at this weekend’s box office. Friends and family who went to see it were not pleased; one of my movie-mad pals texted me: “Sherlock” is “incomprehensible boring relentlessly talky unfunny. Absolutely loathed it.” But he still shelled out to see it! And then he went to see “Nine,” which is even more “incomprehensible boring relentlessly talky unfunny.” He should have gone to see “Avatar” a second time instead.
