“A Single Man”: A Sharp Criticism
“A Single Man,” the directorial debut of designer Tom Ford (pictured), is very much worth seeing. At the same time, New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn captured my main reservation well: “Sometimes, in those opening scenes, I had the feeling I was watching not a feature film but rather, an exemplary ad for a men’s label.”
