Women Over 40 Not Dead Yet
Because Vanity Fair has so many women readers over 40, it’s no surprise that the mag’s new Meryl Streep cover celebrates her recent success as proof that femmes do not wither up and die in middle age. But one or two exceptions (Streep and Sandra Bullock) to Hollywood’s long-standing ageism do not a rule make.
