Why Obama Disappoints Us
Chris Durang, whose play “Why Torture Is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them” was the most lol-filled evening I had in a theatre this past year, has written a piece that reflects the disappointment a lot of us are feeling about President Obama. Money quote: “I still think he’s smart and charming; I’m still proud the country elected him; and I know there’s still time. But I thought he was going to be a game-changer, and I’m not sure he is.”
