People magazine named Johnny Depp its 2009 Sexiest Man Alive. Depp, who also was honored by the magazine in 2003, joins Brad Pitt and George Clooney as the only two-time winners. Basically, in order to be chosen you have to be white (in the 23 times the designation has been bestowed, Denzel Washington is the only exception) and to have been in an “Ocean’s Eleven” movie. GQ magazine is smarter with its just-announced Men of the Year: it spreads the wealth — Clint, Barack, Tom Brady, Chris Pine.
