Best Actress: Bitching Begins
The Hollywood Reporter is bitching about the possible contenders in the upcoming Best Actress race for the Oscar. To me, it looks like a much more promising contest: vets (Streep, Mirren) vs. newcomers (Mulligan, Sidibe). The biggest challenge for Oscar is making sure the “Twilight” kids show up onstage as presenters, to draw in viewers who aren’t drawing Social Security yet.
