More than eight years after “The Office” changed British comedy forever, Ricky Gervais has helped create a new television sitcom that finds its laughs in the drudgery and absurdities of another unglamorous workplace. It’s set in a phone store. I don’t know about you, but every time I walk in to a Sprint or AT & T store what I see is anything but dull: mothers crying because they can’t get their iPhones to work, old men bitching that their new smart model is shit, etc.
