Ailing NBC Cancels “Southland”
NBC’s “Southland,” starring Ben McKenzie (pictured) was last season’s only new TV drama that I watched more than once. So what does NBC do? (That’s NBC: the network that’s given us the unfunny “Jay Leno Show” five nights a week and that couldn’t grow a new hit, much less something of quality, if God Herself presented it to them.) It cancels the series. I doubt that remaining episodes will be aired.
