Obamas Send Signals To Art World
While President Obama’s poll numbers have jumped (I guess the public didn’t care that much about who got the Olympics), the First Lady continues to put a cultural shine on the White House. She is decorating the private spaces there with contemporary artwork and some obscure artefacts. My favorite, pictured above, is Samuel FB Morse’s 1849 patent model of his electric telegraph.
