Dave Reveals Extortion Attempt
David Letterman has revealed on yesterday’s installment of “The Late Show” that someone threatened to go public with his sexual encounters with staff members if he didn’t fork over $2 million, according to a statement released by his representative last evening. I don’t think that many people are going to tune out his show because he fooled around with staffers. Why? 1) He wasn’t, presumably, married at the time. 2) The sex, presumably, was consensual. 3) Letterman’s competition is Conan, whom Dave is besting big.
