Plummer, Mirren In Tolstoy Film
“The Last Station,” the story of Tolstoy’s last days, had a well-received screening at Telluride last month, with buzz for Christopher Plummer (as the Russian writer) and Helen Mirren (as his wife). But there’s no American distribution deal in place yet. Only Germany has a release date at this point (January 10), and the only trailer is in German. But it gives the general idea.
