“Paradise” Finds London Home
“Paradise Found,” the latest musical from director Hal Prince, will debut at London’s Menier Chocolate Factory next spring before a run in New York. Prince will co-direct with Susan Stroman, and Judy Kaye and Mandy Patinkin (pictured) are expected to take lead roles. I guess that scotches the talk that Mandy would co-star in the Menier’s production of “La Cage aux Folles,” which is coming to Broadway in the spring. (Menier also did the Trevor Nunn staging of “A Little Night Music” that’s coming to Broadway.)
