Dickens Devours “Men,” “30 Rock”
I couldn’t let this Emmy fun fact pass by without notice: the British adaptation of Charles Dickens’s novel “Little Dorrit,” broadcast on PBS, won more Emmys (seven) than did “Mad Men” or “30 Rock.” I’d like to think that even the famously America-loathing Dickens, were he alive, would have partied hard last night in L.A. in celebration.
