The 17th-century philosopher Spinoza warned his readers against lavishing material goods on their pets that might be better spent on their children. Apparently, Brad and Angelina do both. Not only do they have a village-ful of nannies to look after their brood, they have just dumped $82,000 on a home for the kiddies’ gerbils. Maybe just a little extreme?
