Reagan Knocks “Socialized Medicine”


Sometimes the apple does fall far from the tree. While Ronald Reagan made this predictable statement in 1961 against “socialized medicine,” his son, Ron, Jr., has been making the rounds of TV and radio talk shows, mounting a vigorous defense of the public option — a reason to like Ron, Jr., in addition to his background in ballet. (A background in ballet hasn’t done much to make Obama’s legislative attack dog, Rahm Emanuel, very endearing.)
