Old-Time Stars: Who’s Still Alive?
Columnist Michael Musto asks: ‘In the midst of one of the dying-est years in celebrity history, I feel it’s imperative to cherish the old-time stars who are still with us and make sure (via prayers, voodoo, or interventions) that they never transition to the other side. But who’s left?’ His list (all worthy of bold-face): Liz Taylor. Jennifer Jones. Olivia DeHavilland. Joan Fontaine. Debbie Reynolds. I’d add: Deanna Durbin, Carol Channing, and Lena Horne. And Doris Day! How in the hell could Musto forget Do-Dee Day?
